GFG Celebrates 40th Anniversary in the Coil Processing Equipment Industry.
GFG turns 40 this year. And we have good reason to celebrate.
Since 1969 we've been a world-leading innovator and manufacturer of roll coaters, laminators and embossers, as well as complete integrated coil processing lines, for the coil processing industry. Our Peabody division also continues to dominate the world market with their line of quality electrostatic oilers.
Nearly from the start of the emerging roll coating industry in the late 1960s, GFG was on the front lines. Our innovations in coil coating equipment set the standard for roll coater design. We were the first to put automation on coaters. We were the first to develop multi-head coaters for quick color change opportunities. And we were the first to add load cells onto roll coaters. All these advancements provided greater efficiency and added-value for our customers.
